Assistance, insurance, traffic information

ATTENTION! Always call the assistance company of your Insurance, never sign anything on the accident site!

If you do, there is a high chance to end like those clients in the report from Česká televize.

Providing help in case the vehicle is immobile:

• most Insurance companies provide/offer towing service as a bonus to the third party liability insurance
• for obtaining towing service always call the assistance compoany first, these services are free to your insurance policy, or call SOS 1229/line for motorists, where we would connect you with the right assistance service

·         In case your vehicle is insuranced at Česká pojišťovna, always call ČP ASISTENT: +420 224 557 004, or SOS 1229/line for motorists.

Remember:

• you are not obliged to use the service offerred by anyone who wilfully appears on the accident/breakdown site and forces you to use his services;

• always contact your assistance company, who would advise you about the scope of cover.

When using help from the contractual assistance company of your Insurance you will be sure that the services will be provided proffesionally, in compliance with your Insurance policy, and you would have no troubles with eventual claim of unauthorised fulfilments.

Consider your signature

• there are companies whose purpose is to drive along the streets, seeking car-accidents and try to take advantage of the stress situation in order to enrich themselves; please watch the video
• They offer overrated services in as broad spectrum as possible – they do not consider whether the service is covered by the insurance policy or not – then the client is mostly disappointed about the claimed costs;
• Don´t let anyone persuade you or force you to sign any contracts in the stressful situation (e.g. deputy power of attorney) in case you have no time or propper frame in order to carefully read the offered contract, you´d better refuse it.
